Milking Time Sketchbook, Vol. 3

So, the unintended theme for this installation of the milking sketchbook seems to be "waiting".  Melody, you see, takes a long time to milk out.  Her left back quarter, for some reason, milks out significantly faster than the other three.......

...... so to make sure she is properly milked out in the the other 3 quarters,
we remove the cup, kink the vacuum line so it's not sucking air
and sort of cradle it on the machine, like so.  Then we all wait.

And we wait.  Here is Jackee, all finished, waiting patiently for Melody.

And, obviously I am waiting too, so here is a sketch of
Jackee's milked-out udder and her tail, looking just as smashing as it did
in the last sketchbook volume.  As you can imagine, there is not much to
sketch when milking, other than the back end of cows!

Even though these were sketched on different dates, the theme is always the
same as far as Melody is concerned.  Waiting.  Except for when grain is in
the equation.  Then look out.
